As we head into the days of great tribulation, keeping a proper perspective about LIFE ITSELF.
We are NOT PHYSICAL BEINGS having a “SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE!” We ARE SPIRITUAL BEINGS having a “PHYSICAL EXPERIENCE.” As such, we MUST keep ETERNITY in mind. Take for example, a person who lives to be 100 years old. What is a 100 years when compared ETERNITY. What came to mind was this AI generated montage. If our life was likened to a “cup of water,” then ETERNITY could be compared to an OCEAN! |
PAUL maintained a proper perspective throughout his "turbulent" ministry. Even after all his floggings, beatings, stonings, shipwrecks, prisons, etc. and most hurtfully, BETRAYAL by brothers in the faith, he let loose on his internal dialogue when writing to the church in Corinth:

One of the biggest LIES that HELL has "sold to the CHURCH" is that many believers have a "HOLLYWOOD VERSION of HEAVEN and of the CELESTIAL CITY!"
Allow me to explain. First, ETERNITY. IF we were to fill an empty 64oz Coke bottle with water from the Pacific Ocean near the Santa Monica Pier, and then were to drive the "bottle containing the PACIFIC OCEAN" over to the NEW YORK HARBOR, and then pour it out. Once the bottle was empty, then we were to drive back to CALIFORNIA and then repeat the steps at the pier at Santa Monica, by the time we were able to EMPTY the PACIFIC OCEAN into the ATLANTIC OCEAN, NOT ONE SECOND OF ETERNITY WILL HAVE PASSED! ETERNITY is FOREVER and EVER and EVER! When we place our trials and tribulations in their proper "TIME PERSPECTIVE," no matter how difficult they may have been, upon our death, we will understand how insignificant those trials were when placed in relationship with ETERNITY! The Apostle PAUL kept his trials in their proper PERSPECTIVE. |

Another LIE that the church in large part has believed has to do with HEAVEN ITSELF. The way HOLLYWOOD depicts HEAVEN would make any seriously-minded person think "TWICE" if or not he or she REALLY wanted to spend ETERNITY in such a place.

Take another example of having been "sold" a "FAKE" bill of goods! The image of the CELESTIAL CITY referred to in REVELATION that MOST CHRISTIANS have could PROBABLY be likened to the following depiction, thanks to well-meaning artists and efforts of the MEDIAnites!
IF this depiction is meant to transmit a TINY CUL DE SAC of the CELESTIAL CITY, then NOT SO LUDICROUS! Take a moment to chew on the DIMENSIONS of the CITY as revealed in the WORD of GOD.
12,000 stadia (about 1,400-1,500 miles) in length, width, and height, making it a perfect cube.
To put it another way, each side of the CELESTIAL CITY is equivalent to the distance between KANSAS CITY, MO and BOSTON, MA! Don't forget that the CELESTIAL CITY is that HIGH as well!
